Great site and one that should always be available to show the sacrifices made through the decades by those who left their families to keep others safe, never to return home. Thin Blue Line Radio are hoping to link in with you all and honour those fallen through the decades.

Top notch site filled with an amazing amount of information. I am always interested in how the "job" works in other cities, very well done.

Hello my great grandfather served in the city of Liverpool police in about 1888. He lived in Toxteth. Sadly he died young from Tuberculosis when he was only 33. Best wishes, Simon Roberts

What a fabulous site of information, I’ve recently found my late mothers birth certificate she was born on the 8th April 1925 & it states that her father was a Mounted Police Constable & by the address I know she was born in Liverpool (I live in Australia)

Great site. The material from the 60s is excellent, and the social history on display in the earlier periods a stark reminder of how things were. the approach and attitudes of your article-writers strikes the right note, too. Thanks!
