A new exhibition is opening, showcasing police uniforms and equipment dating from the 1800s to the present day.
Starting on Monday February 11, 2013 and running for a six-week period, the Met Quarter, Whitechapel, Liverpool will play host to this fascinating display.
The exhibition will show the development of the police force in Merseyside and visitors will have the opportunity to try a range of uniforms from Victorian capes to modern coats.
An ideal reprieve from city shopping, admission is free and open to all ages. School visits are welcome.
